Governor’s Civic Leadership Awards recognizes the top student civic leaders at Washington Campus Compact member institutions who have demonstrated an exceptional leadership and commitment to addressing critical issues on their campus and/or community. Governor’s Civic Leadership Award recipients will be selected by the pool of Presidents’ Civic Leadership Award winners. A total of three winners will be selected, one from each institution type: two-year, four-year public, and four-year private institutions.
Award Details: Governor’s Civic Leadership Award recipients will receive $1,000 award for each Governor’s Civic Leadership Award winner and be recognized at the April 19, 2019 award ceremony at The Museum of Flight. Finalists for the Governor’s Civic Leadership Award will also be recognized and, depending on funding, may be awarded a cash prize.
