Bothell Youth Court

Bothell Youth Court is a community wide collaboration where high school youth are given the knowledge, resources, and support necessary to not only hold their peers accountable for traffic offenses, but also insure that those peers learn from their mistakes in an uplifting and restorative manner. College mentors hold training sessions to teach the youth how to facilitate a restorative court process. As a result, the youth are able to educate respondents while mitigating risks to overall community health and safety. Participants gain practical leadership experience that allows them to effectively advocate a myriad of future social and political issues.
