The Social Entrepreneur Award represents the collaborative and innovative spirit of the Students Serving Washington Awards. Student teams from Washington Campus Compact member institutions will identify and define a social entrepreneurial challenge question, in one of the critical issue areas. Student service leaders, in collaboration with faculty and staff from their institution, will work to develop novel, innovative solutions that address the identified challenge. Student teams will develop proposals that include a project narrative, logic model, budget, and a literature review. Winners will receive seed grants through their institution to begin implementing their proposed solutions during the following academic year.
Award Details: Social Entrepreneur Award recipients will receive $10,000 in seed grant funding for their institution to be used for developing their proposal into a project that addresses the critical issue.
